Privacy Policy

Effective 9 August 2026

The short version: TALISMAN has no account, no advertising, and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. Your onboarding answers, saved lines, favorites, and streak history stay on your device. The one exception: a short, fixed list of purchase and product-milestone events — never your answers or content — reaches our subscription vendor, RevenueCat, so we can see which parts of the app are working. Section 02 below lists exactly what that is.

01Who we are

TALISMAN ("the app," "we") is a daily-affirmations app for iOS, published at talismandaily.com. This policy describes what information the app handles and where it lives. Questions: support@talismandaily.com.

02What we collect

The app has no sign-up and no login, and it contains no advertising, third-party analytics, or tracking SDKs — nothing that profiles you across apps or websites, and nothing we sell. We cannot see your name, your onboarding answers, your favorites, your saved lines, or anything else you write or select in the app.

The app does make a small number of network requests: to process purchases through Apple's StoreKit, and — through our subscription vendor, RevenueCat — to record a short, fixed list of purchase and product-milestone events against your subscriber record. Specifically: that onboarding finished, that the paywall was shown or a plan purchased (and which plan), and your current streak count. These are timestamped milestones and short labels, never the affirmation lines you save, the answers behind them, or anything else you type. See section 04 for how RevenueCat uses this.

03What stays on your device

To function, the app stores the following locally on your iPhone only:

This data is never uploaded anywhere by the app, with the narrow exception described in section 02 above — a short list of milestone events (including your current streak count, but not your saved lines or answers) that sync to our subscription vendor. Deleting the app deletes your local data. If you use iCloud device backups, Apple may include the app's local data in your own backup under Apple's terms — that backup is yours, not ours.

04Purchases & RevenueCat

Subscriptions and the Lifetime purchase are billed entirely by Apple through your Apple Account. We never receive your payment details, billing address, or identity from Apple directly. Apple's handling of your purchase data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

We use RevenueCat to validate purchases and manage subscription state. RevenueCat assigns your device an anonymous subscriber ID and, once you purchase, links it to your transaction so we can confirm entitlement. Alongside that, the milestone events listed in section 02 are stored as attributes on that same subscriber record — visible to us, per-subscriber, in the RevenueCat dashboard — so we can see which parts of TALISMAN are working and where people drop off. We do not use this data for advertising, and we do not sell it. RevenueCat's own handling of it is governed by RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

05Notifications

Daily reminders are local notifications, scheduled and delivered by your phone itself. No push-notification server is involved, and enabling them shares nothing with us.

06Children

The app is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13; the app requires no sign-up or personal identifiers from anyone, of any age, and the milestone events described in section 02 carry no information that identifies a specific person.

07Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app ever changes what data is handled — for example, adding optional analytics — we will update this policy first and change its effective date. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
